Indigenous People and Cultures at Risk in
Cross-border Region of Uganda, Kenya and South Sudan

The Turkana are a nomadic pastoralist tribe concentrated in northwest Kenya. In informal meetings Turkana elders expressed to me their desire for government law enforcement to curtail inter-tribal conflict, including cross-border raids and cattle rustling.
